Detailed Itinerary of 12 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park, Game Drive
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver-guide and embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park – one of the most scenic parks in Kenya and a major attraction, renowned for its hundreds of flamingoes, pelicans and other bird species.
Arrive in the park in time for lunch after checking in at your lodge, in the afternoon go for a game drive, and enjoy the sights of the pink shade of the lake created by flamingoes and sight of several animals including lions, zebras, rhinos, giraffes, elands among others.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara national reserve, Game Drive
After breakfast at your lodge, you will transfer from Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve. With en-route game drive in the plains of Masai Mara you will head to your lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon return to the reserve for an extensive game drive.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara game reserve, Maasai Cultural Tour
Wake up early for breakfast and get ready for a full day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve with your lunch boxes. The full day game drive offers you the opportunity to explore the plains of the reserve and see several animals including lions, zebras, elephants, giraffes and many more.
Enjoy picnic lunch and continue exploring the reserve till sunset. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Serengeti National Park with border crossing at Isebania Border. After clearing with your border authorities, change into Tanzania vehicles and proceed with your journey to Serengeti with en-route game drive. Check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5, 6&7: Full Day in northern Serengeti National Park
Enjoy your early breakfast at the lodge, then drive out for a full day game drive in the Serengeti. Lookout for predators as you follow the wildebeests herds (If you visit in time for the Great Migration). Have a chance to witness the Mara River Crossing during your game drive.
Keep an eye out for several animals including lions, Thomson gazelles, topis, ostriches and cheetahs. Enjoy full day game drive experience in the park as you search for the various animals as well the wildebeest herds. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 Full Day in Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)
After your early breakfast at the lodge, head to the Central Serengeti for a full day game drive with your lunch boxes for picnic lunch. Enjoy big game around Seronera River, some of the wildlife to lookout in the region include the lions, Thomson gazelles, topi, ostriches and cheetahs.
After the game drive you will proceed to the Visitor Centre where we will enjoy our lunch. Continue with the game drive exploring the park till evening. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge Visit, Crater Rim Walk
After breakfast at the lodge, proceed for a transfer out of the Serengeti enjoying yet another game drive experience with your packed lunch as you head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Visit the Olduvai Gorge for a chance to learn about the early life of man and findings of Dr. Mary and his husband Louis Leakey. Proceed through the conservation area with a game drive as you head to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight stay. .

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, and with your packed lunch boxes proceed to descend over 00 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day- Ngorongoro Crater safari. The crater is home to a vast variety of animals including wildebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, elands, hippos, and giant African elephants. The major draw to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators that is lions, jackals, hyenas, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopards.
Also, you will visit Lake Magadi, a large shallow alkaline lake in the Southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Enjoy sight of large numbers of flamingoes, hippos and other water birds. Enjoy your lunch in the crafter floor as you marvel at the picturesque scenery. Thereafter return to the lodge and spend the rest of the evening at relaxation and overnight stay as above.

Day 11: Lake Manyara National Park Game Drive, Canopy Walk
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Lake Manyara National Park famously known for being home to tree climbing lions.
While in the park, you will engage in a game drive on which you will see the diverse scenery of the park and several wildlife species such as antelopes, gazelles, leopards, waterbucks, monkeys, baboons among others as well as different bird species such as flamingoes. After the game drive, proceed to the lodge for check-in and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Mto wa Mbu Cultural Tour, Departure
After breakfast at the lodge, check out of the lodge and proceed for a cultural experience in Mto wa Mbu for a chance to learn about the tribes that reside here. Then proceed for a transfer to the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
