Detailed Itinerary of 7 Days Ultimate Uganda Safari
Day 1: Pick up and Travel to Kibale Forest National Park
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe, your meet your driver-guide and embark on a journey to Kibale Forest National Park – a primate chimpanzee trekking destination in Africa.
Dubbed as the primate capital of the world, Kibale Forest National Park host 13 primate species including the largest population of chimpanzees. Along the journey you will have a stopover for lunch in Fort Portal. Before continuing to your lodge for check in and short rest, later go for an exploration of the crater lakes region.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
Have early breakfast and head to the park for chimpanzee trekking, join other trekkers in briefing session about chimpanzee trekking and the right way to behave. With armed ranger guide, head into the forest looking for chimpanzees on a trek taking approximately 2 to 4 hours or more. Spend one hour with these playful apes as watch them play, feed, jump from one branch to another and pick fruits.
Later trek back to the park headquarters, meet your driver guide and return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, go for a nature walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park – the most popular wildlife destination in Uganda. Arrive in the park in time for lunch after checking in. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, keep an eye out for several wildlife species including lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, and several bird species among others.

Day 4: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Wake up early for breakfast, and go for an early game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park on which you will see different animals like lions, buffaloes, elephants among others. Return to the lodge for lunch, in the afternoon go for an evening launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. As you sail on the calm waters, you will see several animals including hippos and crocodiles in the waters, herds of elephants and buffaloes and other animals along the channel drinking water as well as several water birds.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a game drive through the Ishasha Sector where you will lucky enough to see the rare tree climbing lions.
Enjoy en-route lunch and continue to the park. Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Wake up early for breakfast, and with your packed lunch head to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking and the right way to behave while in the forest. With armed ranger guide, head into the forest looking for mountain gorillas. The trek takes approximately 2 to 4 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous nights.
Once you locate these gentle giants, you will spend one hour in their presence watching them play, groom and pick fruits under a watchful gaze of a silverback. You ae free to take as many photos and videos, then trek back to the park headquarters, meet your driver guide and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on a journey back to Kampala where you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
