DETAILED ITINERARY OF 10 DAYS KENYA AND TANZANIA SAFARI
Day 1: Arrival
Upon landing in Kenya at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our experienced guide and head to your hotel in Nairobi for an evening of relaxation, dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Nakuru national park
Have early breakfast and depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru national park, along the way you will enjoy scenic views and when you arrive in the park you will head to the lodge for check in and lunch. Then head back to the back for an afternoon game drive searching for giraffes, lions, gazelles, rhinos and flamingoes on the shores of Lake Nakuru. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ziwa Bush Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara national park – evening game drive
You have early breakfast and then head to the park for en-route game drive as you head to Maasai Mara national reserve – the greatest wildlife destination in Kenya and Africa as well. Along the way you will have a stopover in Narok where you will visit the Masai Community Market and buy some of the Masai products including jewelry, clothing among others. When you arrive in the reserve you will have an evening game drive then head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full day in Masai Mara
Have early breakfast and head to the reserve for a full day of game drive with your lunch boxes for picnic lunch, on this day you will have morning and afternoon game drives searching for resident animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, gazelles, cheetahs, wildebeests among others.
When you visit the Masai Mara plains during the Great Wildebeest season that is in July to the end of September, you will witness a mass migration of thousands of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles. After a full day of adventure, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park
Enjoy early breakfast, checkout of the lodge and drive to Serengeti national park through the Isebania Border where you will clear with the customs, meet your Tanzania guide and vehicle and head to Serengeti national park in Tanzania.
Along the way you will have lunch and when you reach in the park, you will have a short game drive of about 2 hours enjoying the Serengeti plains and spotting resident animals including the big Five. Head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 -7: Full day in Serengeti national park
Have early breakfast, you will head to Serengeti plains for a full day game drive (morning and afternoon game drive) with packed lunch. During the full day game drive lookout for many animals including the Lions, Thomson gazelles, topi, ostriches, cheetahs elephants, leopards, hyenas, rhinos among others. You will have picnic lunch and continue with exploring the park. Later in the evening you will return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Serengeti Plains – Ngorongoro conservation area
After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a stopover at Olduvai Gorge site which boasts with history dating back to the dawn of time, it was this site that anthologists Drs. Louis and Mary Leaky discovered the skulls “Nutcracker Man” and “Handy Man” which are very significant link in the chain of human evolution.
You will arrive in time for lunch which you will have at your lodge and in the afternoon you will have a game drive around the crater floor. In the evening you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Full day at Ngorongoro crater
After early breakfast, you will descend to the crater floor for a full day game drive with your packed lunch, Ngorongoro crater is a home to abundant resident animals including herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, giraffes, giant African elephants, predator such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and elusive leopards. You will also visit Lake Magadi – a home to huge population of flamingoes, in the evening you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer to Arusha – Departure
You will enjoy breakfast, checkout of the lodge and embark on a journey to Arusha, you will be dropped off at the airport for your departure or at the hotel.
