Detailed itinerary of 10 Days Kenya Magical Safari

Day 01: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

To start your safari, you will be picked up from the airport upon arrival or at the hotel in Nairobi after breakfast by our safari guide and after a short briefing about the safari, you will embark on a journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, you will stop at the Great Rift Valley view point for pictures and enjoying scenic views of the escarpments.

Arrive in the park in time for lunch at your lodge after checking in, then go for an afternoon game drive in the reserve searching and spotting various animals including lions, leopards, giraffes, wildebeests, elands, cheetahs, herds of elephants among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 02: short morning game drive, visit the Maasai people and transfer to Lake Nakuru  

Wake up early for breakfast and head to the reserve for an early morning game drive searching for more wildlife which you might have missed on the previous game drive, some of the animals to look out for include lions, cheetahs, oribi, Maasai giraffes among others.

After the game drive, you will head to the Masai Village for an interaction with the Masai people and a cultural visit where you get a deeper insight in their beautiful and unique way of life of these amazing people which hasn’t been destroyed by modernity or technology. You will be entertained by local dances and drama, participate in cattle rearing among other activities.

Then, you will head back to the lodge for lunch and then embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru where you will arrive in the evening. Check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: morning game drive and transfer to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, you will head to the park for a morning game drive exploring the savannah plains of the park and enjoy watching several animals including rhinos, leopards, lions, giraffes, warthogs among others. You will also visit Lake Nakuru where you will spot various bird species including concentration of pink flamingoes, pelicans among others.

Have lunch at your lodge, then checkout and embark on a journey to Lake Naivasha which is approximately 2 hours drive away, you will arrive in the evening and spend the rest of the day at the lodge, have dinner and spend the night.

Day 04: visit Crescent Island and transfer back to Amboseli

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Naivasha for a visit to the Crescent Island found in the middle of the lake and is only accessed by a boat ride. While at the island, you will watch several animals such as giraffes, zebras, hippos, antelopes, wildebeests and many birds such as goliath heron, spoonbills and giant kingfishers.

You will then embark on a journey back to Amboseli arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05: Amboseli – Tsavo West

After breakfast, you will head to Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will head the park for game drive and visit to the Mzima Springs which is the main source of water to the ecosystem as well as Mombasa.

Day 06: Tsavo West – Tsavo East

After breakfast, drive to Tsavo East National Park which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and famous for Man- Eating lions. Tsavo East and Tsavo West form the largest protected area in Kenya as well as East Africa and they are separated by a railway line.

Tsavo National Park was founded in 1947 and is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Kenya, during the game drive you will spot the famous red elephants, lions, cheetahs and many antelopes (Oryx, kudus, giant gazelles and giraffe) Burchell’s zebras, Masai giraffes baboons and vervet monkeys. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 07: Tsavo East – South Coast Beach Holiday

After breakfast, you will drive south to Mombasa arriving around 1230 hours and check – in at your beach resort. Have lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Diani Amani Resort.

Day 08 – 10: Mombasa Beach Holiday South Coast

Relaxing stay at the resort, alternatively you take park in several activities including windsurfing, sailing, snorkeling, volleyball, lawn tennis during the day, table tennis, and a variety of board games. In addition, we shall offer you an Evening Tamarind Dhow, which includes seafood dinner and dance cruise in Tudor Creek.

Day 11: Mombasa JKIA – Back Home

Pick up from your resort and be transferred to Mombasa Airport for your flight to Nairobi and connect to your international flight back home.
