Detailed itinerary of 3 days Tsavo West Kenya safari
Day 1: transfer to Tsavo West national park
Upon arrival in Kenya at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be picked up by your safari drive guide. He will give a short briefing about what to expect from the safari and transfer to Tsavo West national park. You will enter the park through the Tsavo River Gate, you will go for a game drive as you head to your lodge searching for the big Five that are lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, elephants and rhinos.
After checking in to your lodge, you will have lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a game viewing experience with a visit to the Ngulia Rhino sanctuary where you will search and spot the endangered black rhinos and other animals. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: morning and afternoon game drive
Wake up early and head to the park for an early morning game drive before breakfast, this game drive offers chances of catching the big Five before the sun gets too hot. You will be able to watch the hunting scene or lions, leopards, African wild dogs among others return from their hunt.
You will then return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will return to the park for another game drive, during the game drive you will visit the Mzima Springs where you will see hippos, crocodiles and different species of fish that can be seen in the crystal clear water, there are also several species of birds which you will enjoy watching.
You will also visit the Shetani lava flow where you will get scenic views of the snowcapped mountain Kilimanjaro from a distance. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: transfer back to Nairobi
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then checkout of the lodge and embark on a journey to back to Nairobi with an en-route game drive arriving in the afternoon, you will then be dropped off at your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport.
