Detailed itinerary of 5 days Masai Mara and Zanzibar Safari
Day 1: pick up and drive to Masai Mara
To start your safari, you will be picked from your Nairobi Hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International airport upon arrival by your safari driver – Guide. He will give you a short briefing about the safari and then embark on a journey to Masai Mara national reserve, along the way you will have a stopover at the view point of the Great Rift Valley then proceed to the reserve arriving in afternoon.
After checking into your lodge, you will have lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a game drive. Expect to see various animals such as wildebeests, lions, zebras, gazelles, giraffes among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full day in Masai Mara
Wake up early and head to the reserve for an early morning game drive which is a perfect time of the day to see predators and the hunt, in the early morning hours you are able to see many animals before they go into hiding because of the sun. You will then return to the lodge for breakfast and a few hours of resting as you wait for lunch. In the afternoon you will head back to the reserve for a game drive exploring and enjoy sightings of many animals. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: transfer back to Nairobi and fly to Zanzibar
Wake up early for breakfast and head go for en-route game drive as you exit the reserve heading back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at Wilson Airport after lunch for your flight to Zanzibar.
Upon landing in Zanzibar, you will be picked up by your guide and transfer to your hotel or resort in Zanzibar. You will spending the evening at your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: full day in Zanzibar
After breakfast you will either spend the rest of the day resting at the beach or go to stone Town for a walk in anarrow arrays learning more about this historical town and encountering the locals.
In the afternoon you go for a visit to the prison Island or go for safari blue experience which involves snorkeling, boat ride , delious buffet and drink and visiting menai bay. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Zanzibar Beach Resort.
Day 5: Spice Tour and Departure
After breakfast, you will meet your guide and go for a spice and botanical tour. During the tour you will explore the huge spice plantations where you will be welcomed by the amazing aroma of different spices such as nutmeg, ginger among others, taste the tropical fruits and purchase ornaments, medicines and spices from the local stands along the plantations. You will also visit the Kidichi bath built in 1850 by the first sultan for his wife Sheharzard – grand dauty of Feteh Ali Shah of Persia.
After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
