Detailed itinerary of 3 days Serengeti and Ngorongoro safari
Day 1: Pickup and Transfer to the Serengeti National Park
On arrival in Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International airport in Arusha, you will be picked from the airport by our safari driver-guide and after a short briefing you will start your journey to the Serengeti national park – a top tourism destination in Tanzania.
From Arusha, it is a drive of approximately 325 kilometers – about 8 hours of drive through the amazing countryside, along the way you will have a stopover at Olduvai Gorge – a cradle for mankind where Dr Leakey and his wife discovered fossils of the earliest human known as Homo Habilis who lived about 2 million year ago.
You will have en-route lunch and when you arrive in the park, you will have en-route game drive as you head to the lodge. On this game drive lookout for animals such as wildebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, zebras, lions, giraffes, hippos, elephants and baboons and Ostrich. Check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Full Day Game drives at the Serengeti National Park and then transfer to Ngorongoro crater.
Wake up early for breakfast and head to the plains of Serengeti national park for a full day game drive, you will explore the park on morning and afternoon game drive giving you an opportunity to visit most regions of the park. During the full day game drive you will explore the Seronera valley for a chance to spot zebras, wildebeests, lions, topi, waterbucks, genet, hyrax, hippos, serval cats, foxes, elephants, buffaloes, eland, monitor lizards, the aardwolf, mongoose, jackals, masai giraffes, porcupines, aardvark, Thompson gazelle, Grants gazelle, caracal, hartebeest, cheetahs, leopards, lions and hyenas, primates such as colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys and the common baboon among others.
You will have picnic lunch set in the middle of the wilderness of Serengeti national park, after lunch you will go for another game drive and then exit the park and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Ngorongoro Crater – the world’s largest intact caldera.
Ngorongoro crater is one of the impressive game viewing locations in the world and best for big cats. When you arrive in the park, you will check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Game drive at the Ngorongoro Crater – Transfer from to Arusha for departure
Wake up early for breakfast and descend to the crater floor for a game viewing experience starting at 7:00 am, you will be able to see huge numbers of elephants, lions, cheetahs, rhinos, cape buffaloes, wildebeests, cheetahs among others. You will also see flamingoes at Lake Magadi, after the experience you will have lunch and then exit Ngorongoro and transfer back to Arusha for a drop off at the airport for your departure flight back home.
