Detailed Itinerary of 3 Days Serengeti Safari

Day 1: Fly to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be met by your Driver-Guide and transfer you to Arusha Airport for a domestic flight to Serengeti National Park.

Upon landing at the airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide and transfer to your safari lodge with a mini-game drive. Check-in at your lodge, have lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive searching for wildlife calling Serengeti National Park home. Some of the animals to lookout for include lions, leopards, gazelles, cape buffaloes, giraffes, gazelles, and elephants among others.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

Spend the full day exploring Serengeti National Park – the most popular safari destination in Tanzania, famously known as its abundant wildlife including the Big Five and the Great Wildebeest Migration. Today we explore the Seronera Region – the central region of Serengeti – the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife.

On your game drive, you will explore the vast savannah plains and spot several wildlife species including cape buffaloes, warthogs, cheetahs, lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and several bird species among others. Later driver to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive – and Fly to Arusha

Start your day early with breakfast, then head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an morning game drive. Descend 600 meters deep into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, see several animals including black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, lions and elephants among others

After the game drive, you will proceed to the airstrip to catch your flight back to Arusha where you will connect to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight back home or to your next destination.
