Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be met by our professional driver-guide and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, located directly along the Rift Valley. The park is tucked in between the steep sloping Rift Valley Wall and the shallow, alkaline soda lake.

During the game drive through the park, you will enjoy seeing several animals including elephants, giraffes, zebras and several cats including the rare tree climbing lions and leopards. You will also spot several animals on the shores of Lake Manyara, including flocks of pink flamingoes and several other water bird species. Proceed your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2-3: Ngorongoro – Ndutu

After breakfast proceed to Karatu and onwards to the entrance gate of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive leads you to Ndutu Area which is considered in many aspects as the continuation of the seemingly endless plains of southern Serengeti.

Spend the next two days on game drive, always in search of the large wildebeest herds grazing on the short-grass plains of Ndutu.

Between January and March, Ndutu is the perfect place to witness one of the greatest spectacles on earth. Depending on the rains the wildebeest cows will give birth simultaneously with almost 8,000 calves being born each day. Also, it is a feasts for predators targeting the young and weak. This is an incredible experience to be part of and not to be missed.

Day 4-5: Serengeti National Park – Central

Journey to Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch.

Serengeti National Park also known as the Serengeti is the most famous national park in Tanzania and was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. Game viewing is fantastic throughout the year with resident game including cheetahs, lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, leopards, servals, warthogs, wildebeests, zebras and many more.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

With your packed lunch box, depart to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is an intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for wildlife. Expect to encounter prides of lions, elephants with huge tusks due to the rich volcanic soil, plain game, hippo, birds and many more. With a little bit of luck, you might spot the critically endangered black rhinos. Proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Departure

Return to Arusha for airdrop at either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) bringing your safari to an end.
