Detailed itinerary of 4 Days Double Gorilla Trekking and Habituation Experience Safari
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon landing at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative – your personal drive guide and embark on a journey to South Western Uganda, heading to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
It is a drive of approximately 8-10 hours with a stop at the Equator Crossing for pictures and in Mbarara for lunch. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park arriving in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have early breakfast, then be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking. A ranger from Uganda Wildlife Authority will brief you about the Dos and Don’ts during your trekking activity, in groups of 8 people you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek and head into the forests of Bwindi looking for mountain gorillas escorted by the armed ranger.
Gorilla trek takes approximately 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on the movement of the mountain gorillas and where they spent their previous night, once you find the gorillas you are allowed to spend one hour interacting with them, taking pictures and watching them go on with their life in the forest. You will later return to the headquarters to receive your gorilla trekking certificates, then be driven back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla Habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have early morning breakfast and head back to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts during your Gorilla Habituation Experience. In groups of 8 people led by armed rangers, scientists and researchers you will start the trek inside the forests Bwindi, the trek takes approximately 2-6 hours and you are allowed to spend 4 hours interacting with a semi-habituated gorilla family, take pictures and videos and learning more about how they are trained to get used to human presence. Later you will return to the park headquarters to receive you Gorilla Habituation Experience, be driven back to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
