Detailed itinerary of 4 Days Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration Safari
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
This morning your guide will pick you up from your hotel or airport and depart from Nairobi at 08:30 am driving through the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara National Reserve, you will have a stop at a view point to enjoy amazing views of the escarpments.
Masai Mara is an enormous reserve famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home of the Big Five – lion, elephants, buffaloes and rhinos. Lunch at the lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wilderness of the world, expect to see various animals including Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousands of plain game including impalas, zebras and both Thomnson’s and Grants Gazelles.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend the full day viewing the great predators, exploring the reserve’s amazing high concentration of wildlife and following the Great Migration. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. See millions of wildebeests filling the savannah plains of the reserve in their annual search for water and pastures.
In the afternoon, you will have a visit to the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and scared rituals. Have a glimpse into their homes and social structure is a thrilling experience. Later have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve
Wake up early and head to the reserve for an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Meanwhile, full day spent for viewing the great predators and explore the parks amazing high concentration of wild animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding.
Continue following the Great Migration as they feed on the fresh grass of Masai Mara National Park, these herds are normally followed by predators looking for a day’s meal. Enjoy picnic lunch along the Mara River and continue exploring the reserve till evening. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
