Detailed itinerary of 6 Days Masai Mara and Serengeti Safari
Day 1: transfer to Masai Mara national Reserve
Your safari will start from Nairobi city – Kenya’s capital city and you will be picked from the Jomo Kenyatta International airport upon arrival or from your hotel after breakfast. You will be picked up at 07:00 hrs and transfer to your adventure to Masai Mara national reserve – the Greatest Wildlife Reserve, along the way you will drive through scenic views of the Nairobi suburbs, beautiful savannah grasslands and the plains of the Rift Valley.
You will have 2 stopovers, one for breakfast and the other at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photography session at the Rift Valley Viewpoint, the continue to the reserve. When you arrive in the reserve, you will check into your lodge then have lunch, then go for an evening game drive. Expect to see various wildlife species including giant elephants, hippos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes among others.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Masai Mara national Reserve
Enjoy early breakfast and head to the park with your packed lunch for a full day of game viewing in Masai Mara national reserve, you will embark on 2 game drives in Mara that is morning game drive and the afternoon game drive with bush breakfast and picnic lunch.
During the game drive, you will be able to spot a variety of wildlife including Masai giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, jackals, spotted hyenas, Nat eared foxes, hippos, impalas, cheetahs among others.
If you visit Masai Mara national reserve in July – September, you will have a chance to witness the thrilling Great Wildebeest Migration as it happens in the Mara, the Great Migration is a natural movement of over 4 million grazers from Serengeti national park in Tanzania to Masai Mara national reserve in search for water and green pastures.
There is an optional cultural visit to the Masai tribe community within the reserve, this activity offers you a chance to learn about the culture, customs, ways of living and be entertained by their exercising cultural dance.
After the amazing experience, you will transfer back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Serengeti national park
After enjoying breakfast, you will exit the reserve with en-route game drive and drive to the Isebania border for crossing to Tanzania, after immigration formalities you will continue on into Serengeti national park. You will have en-route lunch and when you arrive in the park, you will have an afternoon game drive to spot predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, giraffes among others. Then head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day Serengeti national park
Wake up early before dawn for an unforgettable sunrise game drive on which you will marvel at how the sun sets fire to the savannah as you go in search of big cats on the hunt for their morning meals.
After breakfast, you will spend the rest of the day out on the plains of Serengeti searching for the Big Five and the movement of the famous wildebeest migration. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti national park to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will exit the park and drive towards the Ngorongoro crater, you will arrive in the crater in time for lunch which you will enjoy after checking into your lodge. In the afternoon you will descend to crater floor for a game drive on which you will have a chance to spot cheetahs, shy leopards, foraging hyenas, giraffes, lions, antelopes, leopards, cheetahs among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, you will depart Ngorongoro Crater and transfer back to Arusha for a drop-off either at the airport for your departure flight or at the hotel in Arusha.
