Detailed itinerary of 6 days Tanzania safari
Day 1: Pick up, Tarangire National Park Game Drive
To start your safari, your guide will pick you from your hotel in Arusha in the morning, he will give you a briefing about the safari and proceed to transfer to Tarangire national park known for having large herds of elephants and the iconic and ancient baobab trees.
Check in at your lodge as you prepare for lunch and an afternoon game drive, during the game drive in the plains of park you will see various wildlife species such as gazelles, impalas, zebras, waterbucks among others as well as various bird species. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater drive
after having breakfast at your lodge, you will transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation area and along the way you will enjoy views of rolling hills, forests and coffee plantations.
Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and in the afternoon you will descend to the crater floor for a game viewing experience. Ngorongoro crater is a home to over 25,000 animals including the big 5 “lions, leopards, elephants, cape buffaloes and rhinos”, cheetahs, zebras, impalas, elands, waterbucks, hartebeests, hyenas, warthogs and various bird species which you will enjoying seeing. You will also visit Lake Magadi where you see various birds including Pink flamingoes.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park
You will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for a transfer from Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti national park, this amazing wildlife destination is famous for the wildebeest migration, the big 5 Animals “lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos” and elephants among others.
Upon arrival, check into your lodge in the park for lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a game drive on which you will enjoy seeing various wildlife species and different attractions such as the Simba Kopjes which are granite rock outcrops where you will see lion sitting on top of rocks. You will have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full day in Serengeti National Park
wake up early to a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge and with your packed proceed to the park a full day game drive in Serengeti plains, during the game drive you will enjoy seeing wildlife species such as elephants, impalas giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, wildebeests, lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos, cheetahs, hartebeests, topi, hyenas and many others.
You will also enjoy views of Serengeti’s beautiful scenery such as open savannah plains and woodlands and enjoy the sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, Walking Safari
After breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge and transfer to Lake Manyara national park – a home to the tree climbing lions and other wildlife species such as elephants and other wildlife species. Along the way you will have a stopover in Mto wa Mbu town where you will visit craft shops and interact with the locals along the way to the national park.
After lunch at your lodge, you will head to the park for a guided walking safari which brings close to nature and the wildlife including zebras, antelopes, giraffes among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive, Departure
