5 days Bwindi gorillas and Serengeti safari : This 5 days Gorilla and Wildlife is a combined Uganda and Tanzania taking you on a tour to two of the most safari destinations in these two countries that is Bwindi impenetrable national park and Serengeti national park.
In Bwindi impenetrable National Park you will do a gorilla trek on which you will encounter one of the gorilla families in Bwindi and watch the gorillas in their natural habitat for one hour, in Serengeti national park you will participate in game viewing drives on which you will explore the park and expect to see a huge population of wildlife such as lion, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes among others.
Unlike other safaris to Bwindi impenetrable national park, this safari starts from Kigali City of Rwanda and ends in Arusha City of Tanzania.

Detailed itinerary of 5 days Bwindi – gorillas and Serengeti safari
Day 1: pick up in Kigali and transfer to Bwindi
You will be picked from you residence/hotel in Kigali City by our representative, your guide and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park with border crossing at Cyanika Border. When you arrive in the park, you will check into your lodge. You will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge or go for a walk in the local community – The Batwa for a cultural experience, have dinner and stay overnight.

Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Day 2: Mountain gorilla trekking
Have early breakfast and head to the park’s headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts while in the presence of mountain gorillas and in the forests of Bwindi. In a group of 8 people you will head into the forests of Bwindi looking for a gorilla family you are assigned to, the trek takes approximately 4-6 hours depending on the movement of that particular gorilla family. When you find the gorillas you will spend one hour in their presence watching them as they go on with their daily life and take pictures and videos as long as your flashlight is off.
Head back to the park’s headquarters to pick your gorilla certificates and head to your lodge, you will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge.

Day 3: transfer back to Kigali and fly to Tanzania
After breakfast, you will exit the park and transfer back to Kigali where you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Arusha – Tanzania. On arrival, you will be picked up by our guide – representative, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: transfer to Serengeti national park and afternoon game drive
Have early breakfast and head to Serengeti national park, on arrival in the park you will have an-route game drive as you head to lodge for check in and lunch. In the afternoon you will head to the park for an afternoon game drive exploring the savannah plains of Serengeti national park and spotting a variety of wildlife inhabiting in the park including lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, giraffes among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: morning game drive and transfer back to Arusha for a flight back home
Have breakfast and head to the park for a morning game drive exploring more and spotting more wildlife. You will return to your lodge for lunch and then drive back to Arusha where you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
