Detailed itinerary of 6 Days Tsavo & Amboseli Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
As you walk out of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), your personal guide greets you with a big smile: “Karibu Kenya” – Welcome to Kenya! The guide takes you on a journey to Amboseli National Park.
Amboseli National Park is well known for its large herds elephants and the scenic backdrop of the snowcapped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. The herds of elephants can be seen grazing and free roaming in the savannah plains, each herd consists of over 30 elephants. Besides elephants, Amboseli National Park is home to several other animals including leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, giraffes, lions, zebras, lesser kudus among others.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli
Have early breakfast and spend the whole day exploring the beautiful Amboseli National Park.
Amboseli National Park is unquestionably one of the most incredible wilderness in Africa to watch wild game, its popularity is only surpassed by Maasai Mara. Amboseli’s main attraction is the big herds of elephants that roam the dusty plains freely are easily sighted, Amboseli’s elephants carry impressive ivory and are very relaxed around vehicles on game drives.

Day 3: From Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
Transfer from Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
Tsavo West Park offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world, one of the larger parks in Kenya comprising a huge variety of landscapes including swamps, natural springs, rocky peaks, extinct volcanic craters, rolling plains and sharp outcrops blanketed by greenery.
Tsavo West National Park offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions including elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, diverse flora species and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Day 4: From Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park
Depart for Tsavo East National Park for a game viewing experience.
Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest and largest national parks in Kenya, with rugged volcanic landscape. The park covering just over 13,747 square kilometers, Tsavo East is a haven for Kenya’s Northern and Southern species.
Tsavo East National Park’s topography is flatter and drier, the vegetation is sparse making wildlife spotting generally easier. The Yatta Plateau, approximately 290km is the main attraction of Tsavo East, it is the world’s longest lava flow and also the oldest fossilized lave flow on Earth.

Day 5: Explore Tsavo East National Park
Spend a full day exploring Tsavo East National Park.
Tsavo East National Park is a “theatre of the wild” boasting many animals including a sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River. Other animals to lookout for include red elephants, lesser kudu, pods of hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life featuring 500 recorded species.

Day 6: From Tsavo East to Nairobi
The last day! Depending on your flight time, you can relax in the lodge a bit longer before our driver takes you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your flight home.
