Detailed itinerary of 3 Days Uganda Safari from Kigali
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will warmly welcomed by company representative along with your driver guide for a briefing, then head to Kigali City visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial Site, The Crafts Village and the local markets.
After lunch, embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Drive through the beautiful hilly region, cross the border and Katuna and continue to Bwindi. Check in at your lodge, spend the rest of day at rest, have dinner and overnight as you get ready for gorilla trekking experience next day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up early for breakfast, meet your guide and head to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking as well as the dos and don’ts to follow while in the forest. In groups of 8 people you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek, with an armed ranger guide you will enter into the misty forests of Bwindi looking for mountain gorillas. The trek takes approximately 2-6 hours or more depending on the movement of mountain gorillas, when you locate the gorillas you are allowed to spend one hour in their presence observing their amazing family interactions, watch them play from one tree branch to another, groom each other among others.
After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch then checkout and embark on a journey to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi – the second deepest lake in Africa. Spend the rest of the evening resting at the shores of the lake or at the lodge. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Boat Safari & Transfer to Kigali International Airport
After breakfast, you will go for a canoeing experience on the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi which is dotted by several islands. During the experience you will visit some of the islands while the guide takes you through the beautiful stories of each island, enjoy the amazing scenery and the terraced hill.
After lunch, you will checkout of the lodge and embark on a journey to back to Kigali City where you will be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight back home.
