Detailed itinerary of 10 Days Serengeti Safari and Zanzibar Holiday
Day 1: Transfer to Serengeti, Game Drive
Drive Time: Approx. 7 hours
Your safari guide shall pick you from the airport upon arrival and warmly welcome you for the safari. He will brief you about the safari and proceed to transfer to the Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you drive to the lodge in the park, lookout for an opportunity to see some of the various wild game of the park as well as the beautiful sunset over the horizon. Check in, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 &3: Ndutu Area Game Drives
You have these 2 days of the safari to explore the Ndutu Area in the Southern region of Serengeti National Park where the wildebeest migration is expected to be there from January to March. Look out for the wildlife in area as well as the scenic views therein, have lunch stops in the wilderness.
Have dinner and an overnight stay at the camp

Day 4: Full day in Central Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a full day exploring the central Serengeti National Park famous for the big cats population and a diversity of wild game. On the game drive looking out for wildlife such as giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, lions, leopards, elands, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, cheetahs among others.
You can also enjoy lunch in the wilderness and later engage in another game drive while searching for wildlife like leopards, lions, rhinos, buffaloes among others. Your guide will take you back to the lodge later, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive to Arusha
You will have breakfast as you prepare for your drive to Arusha while enjoying another game drive in the Serengeti plains for more wild game viewing, Pass via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area yet again and marvel and the landscape therein. Get to enjoy a Ngorongoro Conservation Area from the view point, enjoy your lunch en-route. Once in Arusha, check in at your lodge, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Fly to Zanzibar
After a leisurely breakfast, checkout and proceed to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be picked up from the airport in Zanzibar on arrival and driven to your hotel for check-in. You will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the beach.

Day 7: Stone Town, Prison Island and Spice Tour
You will take a private boat from Stone Town to Changuu Island or Prison Island where you will enjoy seeing the Giant tortoises and during your tour of the island you will also enjoy snorkeling. You will take a boat back from Changuu Island back to Stone Town, on this day you will engage in a spice tour as you explore the plantations where you will see different exotic spices and also get to know the uses of the spices like cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg among others. After the spice tour, you will return to your hotel for dinner and to spend the night as above.

Day 8: Zanzibar Beach Experience
You will have a day to relax at the white sand beaches of Zanzibar Island and enjoy views of the Indian Ocean. Dinner and overnight stay as above.
