Day 1: Arrival and drive to Volcanoes national park
On arrival in Kigali International Airport, you will be met by our company representative and transfer to Volcanoes national park. Enjoy a cultural tour where you will visit Ibyi’wacu Village also known as the Gorilla Guradians’ Village. Get entertained to traditional Rwandan dance and singing performances from the local Intore Dance Troupe.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
You will enjoy early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch and bottled drinking water for briefing by the park ranger guides at 7:00am. After briefing, you will start your gorilla trekking journey accompanied by the ranger guides in search of the mountain gorillas; this takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.
However, the guides will try to find them from where they were last seen the previous day! You will spend 1 hour with these gentle giants and later return to your lodge to refresh and relax. Dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 3: Flight to Tanzania
After breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed to Kigali for your flight to Arusha. Your guide in Arusha will welcome you, brief you about your safari and drive you to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Runako lodge for Budget, Masai Land Safari Lodge for Mid-range, Gran Melia for Luxury
Day 4: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
You will have breakfast at your hotel in Arusha and your guide will drive you to Lake Manyara national park. You will have a game drive to search for wildlife species in this national park such as elephants, gazelles, buffalos, hippos, antelopes, waterbucks, hartebeests, warthogs, hyenas, giraffes, elands, impalas among others.
You will also see various bird species during your game drive in Lake Manyara national park and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight after your game drive at Twiga lodge for Budget and Mid-range, Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge for Luxury
Day 5: Drive to Serengeti National Park
On the 5th day of your 8 Days Rwanda and Tanzania Safari, You will have an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your transfer to Serengeti national park. You will engage in a Serengeti game drive around Serengeti national park and search for various wildlife species like elephants, buffalos, warthogs, hyenas, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, impalas among others during your game drive. After the game drive, you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Ikoma Tented Camp for Budget, Mara River Camp by TBC for Mid-range, Mara Mara Tented Lodge for Luxury
Day 6&7: Full day Serengeti National Park
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge and your guide will drive you on a morning game viewing experience around the central part of Serengeti national park where you will search for wildlife species like lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, kudu, rhinos among others. Chance to witness the great wildebeest migration, especially the iconic Mara River crossing.
After having your lunches, you will engage in an afternoon game drive around Serengeti national park as you look out for wildlife species and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Arusha via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy your lunch en-route, and be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight out or be dropped off at your hotel of stay in Arusha, which will bring your safari to an end.
