You will also visit Kibale forest national park, a home to the largest population of chimpanzees in East Africa.

DETAILED ITINERARY OF10 DAYS UGANDA AND KENYA SAFARI
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe international Airport Uganda
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be picked by our local safari guide and transfer to your hotel in either Kampala or Entebbe for relaxation.

Day 2: Entebbe to Kibale National Park
On the 5th day of 5 days Chimpanzee and gorilla safari you will checkout and head on a drive to Kibale national park – a home to the largest population of chimpanzees in East Africa and 12 other species of primates for a great experience. Along the way you will enjoy great views of Uganda’s country side, arrive in the park in noon – time for lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon you will go for an afternoon guided walk in the crater lakes area of the park for magnificent views and exceptional cultural visit. Later return to the lodge for diner and overnight.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking and transfer to Bwindi
On the 3rd day of 5 days Chimpanzee and gorilla safari, you will head to the park’s headquarter after breakfast for briefing about chimpanzee trekking experience and then head into the forests of Kibale searching for chimpanzees. Kibale forest is rich in a variety of fauna and flora and as you trek through, you will spot several bird species and primates such as olive baboon, grey checked monkeys, and black and white colobus monkeys among others. When you locate the monkeys you will be amazed by their playful behaviors, watch them play on tree branches and take pictures. After one hour, you trek back to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will checkout and embark on a journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park – the home of the world’s largest population of mountain gorillas via Queen Elizabeth national park where you will spot animals such as elephants, cape buffaloes among others. During the journey you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kigezi hills and green terraces, arrive in the park in the evening hours, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
On the 4th day of 5 days Chimpanzee and gorilla safari you will have breakfast and be driven to the park’s headquarters by 07:00 am for briefing about gorilla trekking experience, a ranger will take you through rules and regulations during the trekking and when you encounter the gorillas. At exactly 08:00 am, the trek will start, you will trek through the jungles of Bwindi looking for mountain gorillas which takes about 2-6 hours and when you find the gorillas you will be allowed to stay for one hour while observing the human-like behavior of taking care of their child, silverback protecting the family among others. You will also have an opportunity to take pictures as long as your flashlight is off, later trek back to the park’s headquarters and go for a community walk for an interaction with the local people and learn about how they live their lives in the forests of Bwindi. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Bwindi to Entebbe – departure
On the 5th day of 5 days Chimpanzee and gorilla safari you will have early breakfast, checkout of your lodge and embark on a journey to Kampala with enroute lunch at Igongo cultural center in Mbarara town and at the Equator for a photo moment and continue to Entebbe international airport for your flight to Kenya.
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be picked up and be transfer to your hotel in Nairobi. Have dinner and stay overnight.
